okay, that was a letdown

i guess a magic article diluted with math couldn't appeal everyone, but that article will remain forever in the annals (no malice intended) of my blogging history. so, i'll move on to a more mainstream topic.

oh, and about today's field trip, it was a big disappointment.

anyway, today's topic is yesterday's fil discussion: if you impregnated your girlfriend, would you marry her? there's also a catch: you guys aren't getting along very well. (meaning, you're having arguments before you guys are even married.) so, would you still marry her?

i wasn't able to voice my opinion (which would be redundant because wowie already summed it up in the discussion; see, we have same ideas), so here it is:

yes, i would have to marry her.

not because of any obligation, but because getting married is the only way i can keep the child she will bear. it doesn't matter if we have to argue all the time; it doesn't matter if she's such a pill; the only thing that will matter to me from the bond we share and the vows we've exchanged at the altar is the child, our legacy, someone i will raise proudly. i'll just grit my teeth and try to make it work, all for the sake of the child. i'm not like alvin who says he'll leave the mother; di ko kayang pabayaan ang aking anak. sperm cell ko yan bah; di ko kayang pabayaan yan.

that's my child, i'll raise him/her if you don't want to, thank you very much.

and i'll be a modern dad in the process. fun :P surely watching all those my wife and kids must amount to something.
