wow, this layout is beautiful...

...and it takes me back to the summer before freshman year, but i don't want to get back into reminisce mode again so soon.

anyway.

leiron was summoned to the principal's office yesterday, and the dear principal talked to him about his blog, and to the specific entry about the "private lounge behind the mirror in the boy's dressing room". man, that was smart. i applaud leiron for that.

okay, there's one thing, that's disrespect. but there's also the other thing, leiron (or me, or anyone else who just blogged about the principal, given that you blog in blogger, blogdrive, livejournal, or your own personal site) didn't do it in any school-controlled server. he did that on blogger, which is not owned by dlsz, dlsu, not even the philippine government. and by doing so, he just exercised the right to freedom of speech, which is a human right etched in stone and sitting smugly in the constitution.

so, the principal does not have any right to throw a case at leiron or myself at all. there was never an offense written in the students' handbook about "speaking your mind and plastering it all over the internet, or the tv, or the radio, or a non-school publication. anyway, he does, however, have the right to be depressed and cry tears in his pink pillow.

yaps: "mag-aabugado ka ba?"
me: "hindi. i just know my rights."

okay, in fairness, the principal can do the same anyway. he can just make a blog and post nasty things about us students if he wants to. the internet is free, anyone can have his or her own propaganda.

in closing, when it comes to people, and their blogs with their personal opinions about you and how they hate you so much, dear principal, you can't see us.
